Data Analyst - HybridMiddlesex - 6-month - Permanent

Leading company is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of a Data Analyst. As a vital contributor to their data-driven decision-making process, you will play an essential role in providing insights that will shape the future of the business

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyse and report on various data
  • Present information to various stakeholders
  • Produce complex spreadsheets
  • Gather and collate information from internal and external sources
  • Update all information accurately on a regular basis as required by customers
  • Validate any changes made by checking the output both within the department and jointly with other departments
  • To assist the Operational and Finance teams with all data queries
  • Perform data checks
  • Perform post-calculation data checks prior to final invoicing including invoice validation
  • Provide administration support for stock inventories
  • Support the rest of the the business with other tasks when required to in co-operation with the Project Leaders/Managers
  • Comply with departmental processes and procedures, as well as wider company policies and procedures

Work Experience

  • Previous experience of managing large volumes of data accurately, preferably from within a costings / planning background
  • Excel (Pivot table V-Looks ups etc)
  • Microsoft Office
  • Experience from operational and/or financial environment
  • Previous experience in a role where accuracy and attention to detail were essential
  • Good time management and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to motivate self and others
  • Flexible in approach and adaptable to change
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Organised and process driven
  • Willing to learn, implement and improve new processes and procedures
