Data Engineer - Parity Network : Job Details

Data Engineer - 6 months Outside IR35 up to £470 a day - Edinburgh or Glasgow

Parity Group are delighted to partner with our client, a prestigious public sector organisation, who is looking to recruit a DATA ENGINEER for a minimum 6-month period, this role will require occasional attendance in Edinburgh or Glasgow.

You will receive a daily rate of up to £470 a day and the contract will see you OUTSIDE IR35.

Working in a small multi disciplined team, this role will be migrating data processes from on premise to AWS cloud and be involved in the development and delivery of integrating data into a data warehouse

I would love to hear from Data Engineers who are experts in data transformation and analysis with experience in a DevOps agile environment and have the following skills;

• Tech skills in Python, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, SQL and tooling including Docker, GitLab CI, AWS, AWS CDK and AWS CloudFormation
• Implementation of data ETLs, data streaming systems and data integration solutions
• Data warehousing and Hybrid on-premises/cloud solutions
• Experience of Digital First or GDS quality standards
• Using testing tools for unit testing, including system test automation frameworks
