Data Engineer - eFinancialCareers : Job Details

Our consultancy client are looking for an experienced Data Engineer from a financial services/Fintech background to work with one of their clients in the payments arena. We are looking for someone who specialises in analytics and financial systems (EPM, FP&A and cloud). You will have advanced SQL skills with experience in a wide range of visualisation tools and wide ranging data engineering experience with tools such as Snowflake with large data sets. You will have experience in designing and delivering data analytics and reporting solutions using Power BI and Tableau and be proficient in financial modelling, forecasting and budgeting. You will have strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and be familiar with cost accounting and financial reporting.

This role will be working on a specific client initiative which is to create a global view of net revenue and associated metrics reconciled to the general ledger looking back to 2022. The solution needs to have the ability to augment with additional attributes such as service codes and geography.

The role will require you to be on site 2 days a week and will be inside IR35.
