The Data Modelling Analyst (Investment Management) will be working closely with the business, front office and a variety of stakeholders during a crucial period of change.  Due to the very specific nature of the work and the prerequisite sectoral knowledge our client requires, they have specifically requested all candidates that apply have experience working within the fund management industry (As opposed to the wider financial services, Life, Pensions, Banking, IB etc) and the data the supports and surrounds it.Responsibilities of the Data Modelling Analyst (Investment Management):  - Designing engineering data models and various metadata systems- Designing models for the Fund Management domain- Support the creation of various data dictionaries- Undertaking data profiling and system analysis- Designing data architecture, dealing with problems that a variety of areasBackground of the Data Modelling Analyst (Investment Management):  - Experience working directly within the fund/asset management sector is essential- Solid knowledge of data relating to asset classes, investment data, fund data etc- Exposure to data relating to derivative products very handy- An understanding of data architecture and design is extremely helpful- Good knowledge of data storage and lake solutions  Is this job for you?  At Meraki, we love recruitment and love words.
