The Role: To provide effective administrative support as a member of the Business Support Data Team, completing digital enrolment timely and accurately, whilst ensuring college policy, audit and conditions of funding requirements are met.The successful candidate will have excellent administrative and communication skills, high computer literacy and be highly efficient and organised. They will have excellent attention to detail and be able to identify and rectify errors. They will be articulate and able to deal sensitively with a variety of situations to support the student experience. The ability to be clear and assertive whilst remaining calm and composed is essential.

Key Responsibilities

·         To enrol students and maintain excellent record keeping, checking for data compliance and ensuring regulations are adhered to. 

·         To assess student’s data and provide an accurate assessment for fees to maximise funding and compliance. 

·         To provide support to ensure student data is validated for ILR submission, providing support to          collect missing information. 

·         Auditing enrolment documents to ensure compliance. 

·         Maintaining excellent record keeping and archiving. 

·         Maintaining knowledge as an advanced user in ProSolution for student records and data. 

·         Process student withdrawals. 

·         Process student change requests. 

·         Support classroom audits. 

·         Respond to queries for student reference requests. 

·         To support other College wide activity such as enrolment and invigilation at peak periods. 

·         To Participate in any other duty appropriate to grade and service needs as determined by                              management. 

·         To adhere to college policies and procedure including Safeguarding, Health and Safety, GDPR,                     Equality and Financial Regulations. 

·         To contribute fully to the mission and values statement of the College, ensuring its effective                            implementation in all aspects of college life. ·  To take proactive responsibility for Health & Safety to ensure that a safe working environment and safe working practices are maintained at all times.

·   To support cross college activities as required, such as organizing events or assisting with enrolment. 

·  To understand roles and responsibilities around safeguarding all learners and contribute to maintaining a safe learning environment. 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Essential criteria: 

1. Excellent administrative and organisation skills with attention to detail.

4. Able to manage and prioritise own workload. 

5. Excellent customer service skills with a positive approach. 

6. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collect data from wider audiences. 7. Willingness to assist and interact with internal and external stakeholders. 

8. Ability to be flexible and adapt workload/priorities to meet the demand of the service. 

9. Ability to perform a variety of functions within a team, with a positive approach to change. 

10. Minimum of Level 2 literacy and numeracy or willingness to complete. 

Desirable criteria: 

1. Understanding of the ILR and fee assessment rules for further education. 

2. Experience of using education software packages. 

3. Fluent speaking in any of the mentioned languages: Arabic, Chinese, Farsi, Kurdish Sorani, Tigrinya, Spanish, French or Portuguese
