Job DescriptionAs the Data Operations Manager at Legal & General Affordable Homes, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our data transformation initiatives. This position requires a strategic approach to data management and a commitment to driving organisational efficiency through data-driven solutions. Key responsibilities include:
  • Designing and implementing robust data controls to ensure the highest standards of data quality across the organisation
  • Managing and optimising our Salesforce CRM system, leveraging its capabilities to enhance data management and operational efficiency
  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive data governance frameworks to ensure compliance and data integrity
  • Leading multiple high-priority projects simultaneously, collaborating with a diverse, high-performing team to achieve organisational objectives
  • Serving as a liaison between subject matter experts and business stakeholders, effectively translating complex data concepts into accessible, actionable insights
  • Developing innovative solutions to address organisational challenges, utilising benchmarking methodologies, professional networking, and strategic idea sharing across departments
  • This role demands a thorough understanding of data management principles and the ability to apply them in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.     • Extensive experience in data quality and controls, with a proven ability to design and implement robust data controls, structures, quality metrics, and advanced statistics and data visualisation techniques.
    • Proficiency in major CRM technology solutions, with Salesforce experience being essential for this role.
    • A comprehensive background blending operations experience (potentially including operational risk) with substantial exposure to data governance basics and practices.
    • In-depth knowledge of data structures, data marts, business intelligence systems, and data quality and governance capabilities.
    • Familiarity with data management technologies, including data catalogues and data quality management systems, as well as enterprise and Cloud technologies, is highly advantageous.
    • Thorough understanding of core business functions and associated data roles and responsibilities (owner, steward, custodian, consumer) to ensure compliance with stringent data quality and control requirements.
    • Exceptional communication skills, encompassing verbal, written, and energetic listening abilities, coupled with strong inter-personal and influencing capabilities. The ability to effectively bridge the gap between subject matter experts and business stakeholders through clear, concise, and user-friendly language is crucial.
    • Demonstrated passion and a curious mind for developing innovative solutions to complex organisational challenges, utilising benchmarking methodologies, professional networking, and the strategic sharing of creative ideas and empirical data across organisational boundaries.
