Data Protection/ Privacy officer, 1-3 days a week’s consultancy role (fully remote)

Role and Opportunity:

Global Consultancy is looking to speak with experienced Data Protection/ Privacy professionals, who are looking for flexible, part-time/ ad-hoc contract work (fully remote/ work from home),

To work with their data privacy team on client projects and their managed service offering.

Core skills/ experience for the opportunity are:

• Proven expertise in a Data Privacy/ Protection Capacity (either as a manager, analyst or officer role).
• Looking for flexible working of either ad-hoc days, or 1-3 days a week, working with predominantly European clients
• Privacy experience - including policy review/drafting, notice review/drafting, privacy assessments such as ROPAs,
• Data subject requests response and tracking,
• Data Protection impact assessment and/or other applicable assessment reviews and escalation,
• Data Mapping - Ongoing support with records of processing activities, such as updates to existing records and/or support with any required new records,
• Drafting and review of privacy notices, policies and procedures,
• Training & internal communications development,
• Breach logging and support,
• Metrics compilation and reporting,
• Nice to have (not essential) - Multi-law privacy knowledge, legal/contract experience, use of privacy tools.

Projects will be starting at the end of 2024 onwards and will be paying daily contract rates between £350-£450 per day. Please get in touch for further details for the role:
