We are looking for a range of skilled Data Scientist and research professionals to join our client in their next project. You will play a critical role in transforming estimates into statistics, a key priority in the upcoming programme. This is a 6-12-month contract role, hybrid working, with 2-days per week onsite in Newport. As Data Scientist, your responsibilities will include:
- Data Analysis.
- Data Processing and Quality Management.
- Collaboration with Expert Teams.
- Development of Statistical Models.
- Training and Knowledge Development.
We’re looking for a Data Scientist with:
- Experience in statistical analysis, with proficiency in Python
- Data science, research skills, and statistical skills
- A degree in a social science (min 2:1 for Assistant Statistician, 2:2 for Statistical Officer) with substantial statistical content. For the senior roles, a master’s or PhD in a statistical field is preferred.
