Debt Recovery Manager - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited : Job Details

Your new companyHays are working with a very reputable legal business who are looking for a Debt recovery Manager to join their team in Telford Your new role

• You will develop a team of 2 to ensure that you maximise on the debts recovered on behalf of the firms clients
• You will manage a portfolio of clients yourself and liaise directly with these clients and third parties to maximise collections
• You will provide technical and strategic advice about debt collection
• You will ensure that bad debt provisions are maintained and write offs are managed
• You will minimise litigation for existing clients, resolve contractual disputes pre-proceedings and deal with contested matters up to trial.
• You will issue proceedings, enter judgements, take enforcement actions.
• Audits and monthly reviews are completed accurately and within agreed timescales.

What you'll need to succeedIdeally you will have worked for a legal business or have an understanding of legal procedures or may have a Degree in Law. You will also have Debt management or Credit Control experience and some supervisory experience would be an advantage.
