We need the Decisioning Systems Assurance team to keep our Purpose, Strategic Aims and Values & Behaviours at the heart of everything they do, to make sure that we are delivering great outcomes for our customers.

This is an exciting time to join the team as it plays a key role in numerous system implementations, upgrades, enhancements and continues to validate and build out our validation of the existing lending systems. We are looking for someone who can help us continue this journey and enhance our capabilities.

What you'll be doing• Leading the development of new assurance processes for both heritages, across all products• Updating, streamlining, and automating existing assurance processes• Ensuring timely execution and delivery of existing assurance results• Providing SME knowledge for data, SAS, assurance and Testing for numerous system enhancements and implementations• Support Systems management team and provide mentoring and coaching for junior team members• Design and maintain controls for ensuring the processes are robust and fit for purpose• Liaise with System owners, Risk policy owners and third parties to ensure the timely implementation of code and resolution of issues

We need you to have• Experience in banking, lending systems and data management• Extensive experience with data mining tools e.g. SAS, SQL etc.• Expert understanding of data manipulation and ETL processes• A high-level qualification in a numerical or coding-based discipline, or equivalent technical experience• Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders• Experience in building trusted relationships with key stakeholder, both internally and externally including conflict and challenge management.• Logical approach to problem-solving in relation to both technical and business issues.

It's a bonus if you have but not essential• Strong knowledge of data management and development processes, including industry-wide approaches• Experience in provision of consultation and subject matter expertise to projects.• Experience of reporting tools such as Power BI• Experience of the wider SAS toolset such as DI Studio, Viya
