Delegated Authority Officer | London Market Insurer | London/Hybrid | £65 -75,000 (doe)

Finitas are delighted to be partnering with an established London market insurer in their search Delegated Authority Officer to join their team. Reporting into the Head of Delegated Authority, you will also have the opportunity to support two junior members of the team. This is a well-rounded delegated authority position, where you will have a variety of responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Supporting the governance of all delegated authorities written.
• Attending Lloyd's or Market DA meetings.
• Providing day to day support to junior members of the team.
• Coordinating and overseeing the annual review of the Delegated Authority process guides.
• Delivering the quarterly Delegated Authority Controls Reviews and presenting findings.
• Processing Lead DCOM entries.
• Processing New Coverholder Applications.
• Processing mid-term contract changes.
• Deputising for the Head of Delegated Authority as required.

Experience required:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a technical delegated authority role.
• Experience of Coverholder Applications and conducting Coverholder due diligence.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to build relationships at varying levels with both internal and external parties.
• Collaborative team player but also has the ability to work independently.
• Able to multi-task whilst working in a challenging but rewarding environment.

Please note you will be required to travel their London office 2/3 days per week.
