Description
- Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
- Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.
- Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
- Ensure supply chain efficiency by coordinating with warehousing and logistics teams.
- Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts and budgets.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product development teams to understand demand forecast drivers.
- Maintain the demand planning software and system.
- Participate in inventory control, ensuring adequate stock levels.
Profile
A successful Demand Planner should have:
- Proven experience in a similar demand planning role within the industrial/manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of inventory management practices and operational processes.
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
- Solid communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
