ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Dementia

Support

Manager for our North Division, working closely with our Head of Dementia Care you will responsible for the overall management of the Dementia Community, implementing and embedding the company’s dementia care guidelines and managing resources..

 Other responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting employees  with dementia specific care planning

  • Facilitating a variety of dementia training modules to the teams across your division whilst also creating a development plan individual to each home

  • Working alongside the teams within our homes to achieve identified outcomes in relation to individual residents  

  • Promoting a risk assessment process that focuses on the ability of our residents rather than disability

  • Maintaining your understanding of national dementia regulations, policies and initiatives and from this, look at ways to implement new processes or behaviours into the business

ABOUT YOU 

To succeed in your application, you must live our values of caring, support, honesty, respect, and accountability in all you do. 

 Our ideal candidate must have: 

  • Demonstrable experience of working in a dementia care home environment

  • Working knowledge of regulations and legislation in relation to dementia care

  • Previous experience of facilitating training

  • A minimum of NVQ Level 3 in a relevant area of care

  • A full UK driving licence
