Design Engineer - RHL : Job Details

Due to continued workload, I am looking for a Design Engineer to work on a 12 month contract based in Stafford, developing heavy duty power trains for many applications. The successful applicant will design and develop engine components and systems to release to production. The role mainly will be focused on cost down opportunities, looking at design of the engines and delivering cost effective, innovative ways to reduce production costs. • Bachelor Degree in Engineering
• 2-3 years hands on experience in a Design Engineering role.
• An understanding of design for manufacturability concepts
• Extensive knowledge of Creo, 3D & 2D AutoCAD
• Microsoft packages knowledge
• Experience in spark ignited engine design
• Mechanical bias experience
