Design Engineer - Shrewsbury (Hybrid) - Up to £40/hr - Inside IR35

What You Will Do:

• Collaborate with Senior Design Engineers to understand design and drawing requirements.
• Create new CAD models and drawings for systems, sub-systems, assemblies, and components using Creo.
• Interpret engineering specifications and apply geometric tolerancing effectively.
• Implement modifications to existing models and drawings, adhering to the engineering change process.
• Engage in design reviews, presenting to colleagues across engineering and associated departments.
• Support DFMEA activities and adhere to engineering plans and timing schedules.

What You Will Bring:

• An accredited engineering degree (2:1 or above) or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in a mechanical design engineer role, ideally within engine, transmission, or driveline design.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software, preferably PTC Creo.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships.
• A collaborative approach to working within multi-disciplinary teams and with external suppliers.
