What You Will Do:

• Utilise Solid Edge 3D modelling system to design and detail products that meet and exceed standard specifications.
• Compile and input Bill of Materials (BOMs) for the ERP system, ensuring seamless product manufacturing.
• Prioritise your workload effectively, aligning with project team timelines and priorities.
• Collaborate closely with the design team to introduce new product variants, focusing on design improvements and cost savings.
• Produce design documentation in line with the company's high standards.
• Work alongside production and customer service teams to refine product designs, drawing on customer feedback and manufacturing insights to continuously enhance quality and reduce costs.

What You Will Bring:

• A HNC or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Mechanical or Electrical Design.
• Proficiency in 2D & 3D CAD, with SolidEdge experience being advantageous.
• A solid background in mechanical or electrical design, with experience in providing bespoke quotations based on customer requests being desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and a flair for problem-solving.
