With recent investment in advanced CNC machinery and a clear growth strategy, this privately owned European company is seeking a talented Design Engineer with a passion for precision and innovation.  Join a dynamic team in the manufacturing sector, developing high-quality office furniture and pod products for the UK and EU markets.Key Responsibilities:  

• Design and engineer furniture products for in-house manufacturing.
• Prepare programs and data for 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines.
• Collaborate with a team to ensure efficient production processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement as part of a lean manufacturing approach.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency in SolidWorks Professional 2020+; experience with Swood CAM and Nesting (or similar).
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and computer skills.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a must.
• Full UK driver’s license.
