  Do you have experience as a design engineer with fabrication experience, looking to take the next step in your career and lead impactful projects from concept to completion in a dynamic and supportive environment?  Our client, a leading manufacturer seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. This engineer will be responsible for the design, installation, and fabrication of structural steelwork elements for a niche manufacturing product. This role is ideal for someone with structural engineering principles, hands-on fabrication experience and ideally experience with in SolidWorks or a similar software.  This is your chance to grow your career with an industry-leading manufacturer known for its strong culture, excellent benefits, and reputation for excellence. You'll play a key role in designing, fabricating, and overseeing the installation process.  The Role:

• Develop detailed engineering drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and fabrication instructions.
• Collaborate with the production team and work closely with installation teams
• Conduct site visits when necessary to assess installations and provide technical support.
• Oversee the fabrication process, ensuring materials and components are fabricated to specification.
• Ensure all design and fabrication processes adhere to company quality standards and regulatory requirements.

  The Person:

• Design Engineer with Fabrication / Structural Steelwork experience.
• Commutable to Bude or willing to relocate (must have right to work in the UK)
