Join our innovative team as a Design Technician, where you will be instrumental in producing detailed fabrication drawings and generating bills of materials for new stage, seating, and other temporary structures. This role requires precision and a keen eye for detail to ensure all designs and structures are quantified accurately.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Produce detailed fabrication drawings and bills of materials for staging, grandstands, and bespoke temporary structures.
- Select appropriate materials based on structural specifications to ensure safety and durability.
- Work proactively with project managers to realise design briefs and ensure client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with clients’ technical teams to refine designs and resolve technical issues.
- Utilise computer-aided design software to develop and visualise design ideas.
