We are seeking a dedicated Design and Technology Teacher to join a dynamic secondary education team. • Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences in Design and Technology.
• Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.
• Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
• Use relevant technology to support instruction.
• Observe and evaluate student performance and development.
• Assign and grade class work, homework, tests, and assignments.
• Provide appropriate feedback on work.
• Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of students’ progress and development.
• Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by laws and school policies.
• Manage student behaviour in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures.
• Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school.
• Participate in department, school, and parent meetings.
• Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues, and parents regarding student progress and student needs.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree in Design and Technology or a related subject.
• Proven experience as a Design and Technology Teacher.
• Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines partnered with a willingness to follow the school’s policies and procedures.
• Excellent communicability and interpersonal skills.
