Are you a passionate and qualified Design Technology Teacher looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners? We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic teacher to join our dedicated team at an SEND secondary school in Rotherham.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach Design Technology to students up to Key Stage 4, tailoring lessons to meet the diverse needs of learners with SEND.
  • Deliver engaging and practical lessons, fostering creativity and technical skills.
  • Prepare and support students in achieving success at GCSE level, ensuring every learner is given the opportunity to thrive.
  • Collaborate with staff and specialists to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
About You:

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialisation in Design Technology.
  • Experience teaching Design Technology to Key Stage 4.
  • Previous experience teaching GCSE is desirable.
  • A flexible and compassionate approach to teaching, with a strong understanding of how to support SEND learners.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
