Design Technology Teacher - Reed : Job Details

Location: Bourne End

Salary: MPS/UPS £33,075 - £50,471 (inclusive of Fringe allowance) plus TLR 2B

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day leadership for the development and management of the Design Technology department.
• Identify areas for development and improvement linked to the Academy improvement plan, SEF, national and local initiatives.
• Develop and monitor schemes of work for Design Technology across the academy, ensuring successful implementation that meets curriculum requirements and is differentiated to reflect student needs.
• Oversee and contribute to the planning and delivery of continuous professional development and training related to Design Technology.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience in delivering outstanding teaching and learning in Design Technology.
• Proven successful mentoring/coaching of colleagues.
• Ability to plan, prepare, and deliver a curriculum relevant to the age and ability of the groups.
