If you're looking for the next exciting step in your career, you're in safe hands...We’re looking for an outstanding Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) to join a busy, high-achieving secondary school in the beautiful Channel Islands.In this exciting contract role, you will play a key part in delivering child protection at a fantastic school with a track record of delivering exceptional teaching in a caring, Christian environment.As Designated Safeguarding Lead, you will be responsible for safeguarding across the school, which welcomes children from age 3-19. You will be the main point of contact for all safeguarding concerns, ensuring that pupils are safeguarded in line with relevant policies and procedures. You must have a Level 3 Safeguarding Certificate and be passionate about ensuring children thrive in a safe and positive environment.This temporary Designated Safeguarding Lead role is available with an immediate start. It is initially offered for half a term, although there is a possibility that it may be extended for the right candidate.Skills and requirements:

  • The right to work in the UK
  • DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
  • Level 3 Safeguarding Certificate
  • Available to start asap.
