Job Description:Job Title Developer - Capital Markets Location London Corporate Title Associate In the Capital Markets: DCM technology team you be contributing to the buildout of a lean agile pod facing-off directly to the business. The business regularly issues over €1 trillion for clients, enabling global economies to function. We are looking for an engineer in the London development team. You will be practicing extreme programming to deliver complex software projects using an incremental and evolutionary approach. Your key responsibilities
  • A commitment to quality applying practices such as test-driven development, pair/mob programming, iterative development
  • Applying clean code principles to enable sustainable production solutions
  • Participating in code review, pairing sessions, analysis, user support and sharing knowledge
  • Supporting the existing collaborative and trusting environment
Your skills and experience
  • Experience in Server side JVM (Java or other JVM languages)
  • History of working in collaborative team environments
  • Understanding of XP principles; test-driven development, pair/mob programming, iterative development
  • DevOps knowledge: CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions), Container based deployment, e.g. OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker
