We are currently recruiting for an experienced low latency C++ developer to join the Connectivity and Execution team at a leading systematic trading firm in London.

The firm is renowned for its use of technology and scientific approach in developing and implementing successful trading strategies across global liquid markets.

To be considered for this role applicants must have expert level knowledge in the design and development of scalable, low-latency and high performant trading systems using C++ on Unix.

Responsibilities will include:

• Design and develop low latency C++ applications related to connectivity and execution of trades.
• Lead and contribute to applications design and architecture.
• Collaborate with internal teams including DevOps, FPGA and other engineering teams.
• Mentor junior team members.

Required skills

• Expert level C++ Development on Unix
• C++ 11/14/17/20
• Multithreading
• System-level architecture design
• Low latency optimization, profiling and performance tuning
• Experience working within front office or execution teams for hedge funds or investment banks.
