Development Chef - KAG RECRUITMENT : Job Details

K.A.G. Recruitment have been instructed to support our client to recruit a Development Chef to join their existing team in Bromborough. Job Title: Development Chef Location: Bromborough, WirralSalary: CompetitiveHours: 37.5 Hours per week - Monday to FridayPurpose of The Role:

Working across the fresh and added value pork category. Your role will consist of working closely with key stakeholders and retailers to develop and innovate new and exciting productsCore Reasonability’s:

• Sample and idea Creation (Preparation of raw meats and added value components.)
• Ordering of new NPD Materials (Ingredients and Packaging)
• Creation and completion new recipes.
• Participate in customer visits, innovation session and presentations.
• Kitchen Management - Ensuring materials are stocked / cleaning schedules are adhered to / Maintaining a clean, hygienic and safe working space.

You will ideally be a culinary enthusiast with strong communication skill, good organisation and problem-solving ability. Who has the capability to work to deadlines within a team or solo in a rapidly changing environment.

Experience of working within a Food Manufacturing environment, ideally within meat would be advantageous. You will be comfortable within a meat environment and be able to conduct organoleptic assessments/taste panels of meat products (pork, beef, lamb, and poultry).

The role may require travel to other sites so therefore a full UK driving license is a must have, with the flexibility to travel on occasion.
