Development Chemist - Rowland Talent Solutions Limited : Job Details

We are currently looking for a Process Development Chemist for a chemical company in Cambridgeshire.

As a Development Chemist you work on small scale process development and scale up of fine chemicals.

Responsibilities include:

• Carry out small scale process development of chemicals.
• Support projects in scale-up from laboratory scale through to production.
• Complete all documentation for research development and scale-up projects.
• Carry out maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Work with other teams including Research, Production and Quality Control.

Ideal candidates will have:

A degree/ Masters (MChem, MSc, MSci) in Chemistry and have completed a Synthetic Organic Chemistry project/ dissertation.

Previous experience in a chemistry lab undertaking distillations is desirable.
