Our client, a leading developer of luxury homes and hotels is looking to recruit a Development Manager to their office in North West London. This is a full-time, permanent position and is office-based Monday to Friday.
Join a respected company with a portfolio that stretches throughout central London and the M25 corridor. The successful Development Manager will be focussing on schemes in the Residential and Hotel markets, from inception to completion.
Your main duties will be:
- Site visits and site financial appraisals
- Site planning appraisals (for residential, hotels, commercial, and PBSA)
- Bank facility loans / structuring
- Financial covenant testing and financial modelling
- Architectural design review (RIBA Stage 0-3)
- Liaising with planning case officers, professional consultants, viability consultants and other stakeholders
- Review and negotiation of S106 agreements and CIL
- Review of planning permissions and discharge of conditions
- Appointment of professional consultants and agents for sales and lettings
- Market research (residential, hotels, and commercial)
- Assisting legal (AST's, Leases, S106 / Unilateral Undertakings, SDLT, Contracts, JCT's, Legal packs for sales and bank facilities etc…)
- Overseeing development projects and assisting Operations Director and Project Managers
- Utility applications
- Street names and numbering applications
- Identifying potential development opportunities and analysing their feasibility
- Working with architects and engineers to design and plan the development
- Coordinating the procurement of necessary permits and approvals
- Monitoring project budgets, and expenses
- Working with the construction and operational team to ensure soft landing of new assets.
- Monthly project drawdown and site visits with bank surveyor. Responding to all project related queries
This isn' t an exhaustive list but gives you an indication of what is required in this role. In order to apply you will be able to demonstrate and hold;
- Proven Development Management experience.
- Estate Management degree or similar.
- Residential and Hotel scheme experience.
- Multi-sire experience.
- Passionate, highly motivated attitude.
- Strong IT skills.
- Ability to travel.
Salary / Benefits
