DevOps Engineer - Meritus Talent : Job Details

DevOps Engineer | Linux, AWS, CI/CD | Manchester | Up to £90,000 + Bonus | DV Clearance Required

MERITUS are working with an expanding national security consultancy looking for DevOps / Platform Engineers to join their Ops team. They have multiple roles available.

If successful you will join an experienced team working to design, build & maintain secure DevOps / Platform solutions for National Security customers. To be successful you will need in depth experience building secure DevOps environments including CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins / Git), Container solutions (Doker / Kubernetes) & Infrastructure as code (Ansible / Terraform). They're particularly interested in Engineers with a background in software engineering so exposure to production coding would be highly beneficial.

The role is based on customer site in Manchester & they require candidates to hold active DV security clearance.

Main Responsibilities:

• Working closely with customer teams to design, build & maintain DevOps solutions including CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins / Git), Container solutions (Doker / Kubernetes) & Infrastructure as code (Ansible / Terraform).
• Working closely with customer teams to ensure projects are delivered on time & to specifications.

Skills Required:

• CI / CD pipleines in Jenkins, Git or similar.
• Containerisation using Docker or Kubernetes.
• IaC / automation in Ansible / Terraform.
• Exposure to cloud administration ideally AWS.
• Background in coding (Java, JavaScript, Python or similar).
• Active DV Security Clearance.

Package Details:

• Salary up to £90,000
• £3,000 bonus + annual performance bonus
