Purpose As part of the Buying and Merchandising team, the Digital Merchandising Planning Manager is responsible for supporting the Buying and Merchandising team with all planning related activities, leading to the buying and replenishment of the optimal digital assortment. The role works closely and collaboratively with teams across the business – in particular with Digital Trading, Central & Regional Merchandising, Digital Third Parties, Marketing, Content Operations. Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute merchandise planning strategies to meet the seasonal targets for all digital channels
  • Analyse market trends, customer behaviour, sales data, returns and other relevant KPI’s to forecast suitable merchandise plans
  • Work with the buying and merchandising Director to support the seasonal buy strategy, go to market plans and seasonal roll-ups.
  • Conduct regular in season sales and stock analysis, working closely with the Trading team to identify reactive short-term opportunities and make adjustment to forward looking plans
  • Contribute to weekly, monthly and quarterly trade reporting deck
  • Proactively respond to ad hoc analyses needs within the team to support on merchandising and trade actions
  • Support on long term forecasting aligned with business ambitions and growth strategies
  • Develop strong relationships with central and regional planners.

  • Good Communication skills and teamwork
  • Experience within a planning function preferably within a digital team
  • Deep understanding of market trends
  • Proficient in data analysis and forecasting
  • Solid experience in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI)
  • Experience working with trading, operations and Supply Chain
  • Experience in luxury fashion environment
