What do the team do?

The IT department at Price Bailey, comprising 15 dedicated staff members, plays a pivotal role in driving innovation through technology. Through strong team collaboration, they source and implement the latest technology, ensure our systems run smoothly, keep our data secure, and train our staff to utilise our technology effectively.

This newly created role will see you work closely with the IT Director and Senior Digital Strategy Manager to help drive internal digital transformation projects forward. You will be expected to take the initiative and collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities for business process enhancements, streamline operations, and improve overall efficiency. This key position requires strong interpersonal and analytical skills, and a passion for technology and innovation.

What will I be doing?

As a Digital Transformation Specialist you will have ownership of the following tasks:

  • Analysing existing business processes and recommending digital solutions to streamline operations.
  • Engaging with various departments to understand their needs and provide solutions.
  • Leading and managing digital transformation projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Ensuring effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Tracking progress and adjusting plans to meet deadlines.
  • Providing training and support to staff on new digital tools and technologies, with the supoort of IT Training Team.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the performance of implemented digital solutions, adjusting as necessary to improve them.

What experience do I need?

Whilst having the following experience is advantageous, we value passion and potential. If you meet the minimum criteria listed below and are eager to develop yourself, we would love to hear from you:

  • Educated to degree level in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field (minimum criteria).
  • Proven experience of undertaking digital transformation projects, ideally in the accountancy or professional services sector (minimum criteria).
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of cloud computing, AI, and automation technologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrable experience of conducting training sessions and creating user documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
