Digital Web Manager - Illuminate Recruitment Ltd : Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Digital Web Manager to lead our digital presence and drive online strategy. As the Digital Web Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of the new website and digital platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the web presence is dynamic, engaging, and aligned with brand goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Website Management: Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of the company website using Umbraco 7, ensuring it is user-friendly, responsive, and up-to-date.
• Content Strategy: Develop and implement a content strategy that includes creating, curating, and managing all digital content (text, images, video, etc.) to ensure it is engaging and aligned with our brand voice.
• SEO & Analytics: Implement and monitor SEO strategies to increase organic traffic, and analyze website performance using tools such as Google Analytics to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Digital Marketing Integration: Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure digital campaigns are effectively integrated into the website, optimizing landing pages for maximum conversion.
• User Experience (UX): Ensure an optimal user experience by regularly reviewing website design and functionality, conducting A/B testing, and making data-driven improvements.
• Project Management: Lead web development projects from inception to completion, including overseeing the delivery of a brand new website, managing timelines, budgets, and coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for website-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient resolution.
• Compliance & Security: Ensure the website complies with industry standards, privacy regulations, and security best practices.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in web management, digital marketing, or a similar role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in web development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), CMS platforms (especially Umbraco 7), and SEO tools.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret web analytics data and make data-driven decisions.
• Project Management: Proven project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with digital marketing platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.).
• Knowledge of UX/UI design principles.
• Familiarity with graphic design tools (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
• Understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
