Our client is a seeking a Direct Sales Agent to join their telesales team.

The role:
- Contact existing customers by phone, SMS and email to discuss and renew their car warranty coverage.
- Proactively reach out to relatable customers, identified from data to offer suitable warranty products and services.
- Handle inbound calls from customers interested in purchasing warranty products guiding them through available options.
- Effectively communicate the benefits of renewing or purchasing new products, handling objections professionally and knowledgeably.
- Sell warranty products in a compliant manner adhering to regulatory guidelines and company standards for compliance.
- Ensure all sales communications are accurate, honest and align with company standards for compliance.
- Clearly explain the terms, conditions and coverage options to customers allowing them to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Regularly participate in training to stay updated on compliance regulations and ethical selling practices.
- Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets, consistently working toward set goals.
- Follow up with potential customers who show interest but may not commit immediately, using effective follow up techniques.
- Collaborate with team members to share best practices and strategies for improving sales results.
- Accurately update and maintain customer records in the company CRM, documenting call outcomes and any relevant notes.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations when handling customer information.
- Participate in comprehensive training to understand warranty products, sales techniques, and customer service best practices.
- Engage in ongoing training sessions to stay updated on product changes and sales strategies.
The successful candidate:
- Proficiency in the full suite of MS Office products to manage tasks with ease.
- Ability to think critically and solve issues as they arise, especially regarding sales objections and client queries.
- A confident telephone manner to handle client interactions professionally, communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport quickly over the phone.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks, ensuring accuracy across all duties
- Persuasive yet customer focussed approach to sales, balancing assertiveness with empathy with excellent listening skills to identify and respond to customer needs effectively.
- Self-started who is highly motivated and results oriented with a strong desire to meet objectives and expectations and a determination to handle objections to work towards targets.
- Previous experience in a telesales, sales or customer service role is preferred but not required as full training will be provided. Experience in a target driven environment is advantageous.
