Job OverviewAs the Director of External Workforce Solutions, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and leading the strategy for the contingent workforce talent acquisition and ongoing management on a global scale.This role will lead all aspects of the end-to-end recruitment process for temporary, contract and freelance positions, ensuring Arm attracts top talent across all regions. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of the contingent labor market, strong leadership skills, and will drive operational excellence in a multifaceted and fast paced environment!ResponsibilitiesWorking alongside the Talent Acquisition Leadership Team (TALT) and Procurement Leads, this role is perfect for a strategic and results orientates leader who is passionate about driving the success of a global external workforce program. This person will be pivotal in ensuring Arm attracts and retains the best contingent talent to meet its dynamic business needs!• Develop and implement a global strategy for contingent labor recruitment & management that aligns with Arm’s overall talent acquisition goals• Lead a small team providing direction, mentorship and performance management of recruitment targets• Collaborate with senior leaders across the organization to understand workforce needs and ensure the contingent labor strategy supports strategic objectives• Responsible for the full cycle of contingent recruitment processes, including sourcing, selection, negotiation, and onboarding of contingent workers• Implement standardized processes, tools and metrics to measure and improve efficiency and effectiveness of contingent labor globally• Ensure compliance with global labor laws and internal policies related to contingent workforce management• Provide insight to the business on market conditions, talent availability and competitive hiring practices for contingent workers• Develop and manage budget, ensuring cost efficient strategies are in place• Report on key financial metrics providing regular updates to key partnersRequired Skills and Experience:• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to encourage and empower a global team• Significant understanding of global labor markets particularly in relation to contingent labor and flexible work arrangements including an understanding of IR35, and 1099 assessment and process• Ability to articulate the ‘future of the workforce’ and what this means for talent acquisition strategy• Proficient in using recruitment technology platforms, Applicant Tracking Systems and Vendor Management Systems• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing scalable recruitment processes and systems for contingent workforcesNice to have skills and experience: • Experience with digital transformation and implementing technology solutions to improve recruitment processes• Project management skills particularly around global employment complexity and the aim to develop solutions that are compliant and scalable• Experience working with diverse and multicultural teams to share their outstanding contributions to Arm's success in the global marketplaceIn Return:You will play a pivotal role in shaping the organizations workforce and contribute to its success whilst having the satisfaction of seeing the talent acquisition team excel and receive recognition for helping to build a diverse and inclusive workforce!The role will require travel to other locations with additional opportunity to work with our global teams.Closing date for applications: Friday 27th September.
