Due to internal promotions, our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Delivery to join their leadership team and drive the successful delivery of Oracle-based projects across a diverse client portfolio.

The Role

As the Head of Delivery, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the end-to-end delivery of Oracle implementation projects. You will lead a talented team of Project Directors and Managers ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality. You will act as an advisor for both our client and directly to their customers using your knowledge of Oracle Cloud implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Delivery Teams: Manage and mentor a team of project managers and consultants, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Oracle Expertise: Utilise your deep knowledge of Oracle technologies to guide the successful delivery of complex implementation projects.
  • Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Strategic Leadership: Contribute to the development of our Oracle practice by identifying growth opportunities, refining delivery methodologies, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks to ensure smooth project delivery and client satisfaction.

What We're Looking For:

  • Extensive Experience: A proven track record in leading large-scale Oracle implementation projects within a consultancy environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership and people management abilities, with experience in leading diverse and high-performing teams.
  • Client Focus: Strong client relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust and deliver exceptional service.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and contribute to the overall growth and success of the Oracle practice.
  • Project Management Expertise: Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, with the ability to manage complex, multi-faceted projects.
  • Excellent Communication: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum 2:1 honours degree (or equivalent)
  • Multiple years of experience in a similar consultancy/project delivery role overseeing multiple successful Oracle Cloud ERP Implementations
  • Proven track record of successful project/program delivering in the UK and/or internationally
