K3 Capital Group is a dynamic and forward-thinking financial advisory services company with a strong focus on mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and business advisory services. Following our acquisition in February 2023, by the US PE firm, Sun Capital, our growth has accelerated. We are about to launch a transformational Transaction and Data Services business focussing primarily on due diligence and data analytics.

We are seeking to recruit team members across all grades from Trainee Associate to Director to help grow a Financial Due Diligence and Data Analytics line of business within our mid-market segment across different regions, initially in the UK. This strategic initiative aims to leverage existing relationships across the K3 Capital Group, with full support from our owners, Sun Capital.

Role Overview for Director:

As a Director, with typically 10 – 15 years’ experience in a combination of operational finance, transaction services and/or investing, focusing on preparing financial teams of our clients ahead of transaction in an institutional environment, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of this new line of business.  This is an exciting and unique opportunity to help shape the future of the new service line; Strategy & Data.  The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter who is looking to further their career at the crossover of deal advisory and finance operations. This is a truly unique opportunity to work within a US private equity backed entrepreneurial boutique and grow a relatively new service line to a pre-existing and wide-ranging client base. As the business grows so will your responsibility and seniority.

You will be required to lead the Pre-transaction and outsourced finance pillars of the Strategy and Data division. This will entail running engagements from simple and small to large and complex and assisting and developing the rest of the team executing engagements, keeping the client informed of any issues as they arise. Not only will you get the chance to build relationships with our client base, you will also be expected to bring and further develop your own network of potential clients and intermediaries.

Responsibilities include:

· Oversee and lead the pre transaction division; leading all engagements from start to finish, liaising with the Data team, FDD team, client and target as appropriate

· Lead business development in growing client base from new and pre-existing networks

· Manage relationships with clients and key internal stakeholders.

· Reviewing financial models, management accounts, letter of engagement and written reports for client presentation

· Assist and play active role alongside MD of Strategy and Data in key strategic projects for the growth of the business

· Analyse and present insightful analysis of a business’s financial performance including its key value drivers and trends

· Effectively communicate insights, requirements and timelines both internally and externally

Essential requirements:

· 10 years’ + experience in a combined finance operations and transaction services / investment role (or equivalent)

· Proof of ability to grow a business line of revenue (£1m p.a) and/or has operated in 2 or more different PE backed finance teams, leading at least 1 as a “no1 role”.

· Existing network of intermediaries for suitable deal flow.

· Ability to manage and lead a team of multiple individuals with multiple deals/projects on the go.

· Chartered accountancy qualification or equivalent (ICAEW/ACCA qualified) – or similar

· Strong analytical and communication skills

· Commercial mindset and the ability to present to clients effectively

· Fluency in Excel

Salary : 90000 - 120000
