Job Description :

Main Responsibilities:

  • Help Design, execute & monitor the team’s strategy and consultant action plan
  • Understand the governance model, rating structure and mechanism at each global consulting firm
  • Maintaining information on the consulting firms’ organisational structures (mapping) and help manage the prioritisation of research activities.
  • Close consultation with affiliates and other Firm stakeholders is required
  • Develop superior knowledge of the firm’s suite of investment strategies
  • Speak confidently and credibly across a wide range of asset classes (public and private) and products; strategically position the firm against industry competitors
  • Manage a range of global consultant relationships, with a view to gain buy ratings globally, and leverage opportunities from those buy ratings
  • Generate research opportunities, lead the process, and attend research meetings with affiliate’s investment teams and coaching participants as required
  • Maintain buy ratings with global consultants, helping the retention of assets for NIM affiliates.
  • Create consultant focused communication material, ensuring the effective communication of key messages on Rated capabilities
  • Support Sales team in advisory and OCIO led opportunities and act as an escalation point and champion for significant consultant lead client issues.
  • Have an awareness of market trends and consultant behavior and inform appropriate internal parties and affiliates of consultant ratings, buying patterns and all key issues that might impact relationships with mutual clients or prospects
  • Help animate the consultant coverage group, composed of Champions from the sales team. CRM data, internal training and guidance to international sales teams, helping ensure they can effectively manage their local and global consultant relationships effectively across regions.
  • Engage with Sales team on new research opportunities to maximise reach with local teams and final clients 

Desired Attributes:

  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the regulatory framework relevant to the role, whilst practicing effective risk management taking account of outcomes for clients
  • IMC qualification desired
