Calling Adult Registered Clinicians! - Homebased working opportunities, No Weekends, No Bank Holidays and No long/evening shifts! We’re Looking for an Adult Registered Nurse, Registered Mental Health Nurses, Adult Registered Learning Disability Nurses, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Paramedics to Join our wonderful growing team of clinicians based in Barnstaple to help support DWP by conducting Disability Assessments to help change people’s lives!  Working Pattern: Homebased and On Site Working - (Hybrid)08:30am – 17:00pm - 40hrs - Monday to Friday | Full Time(No Weekends, No Bank Holidays, No Long shifts and No evening working!) –We do offer Part Time working hours after training. What We Offer You!

Role Overview:As a Homebased Functional Assessor, you will:
  • Conduct Assessments: Evaluate claimants' health via phone and face-to-face.
  • Review Evidence: analyse medical evidence, health questionnaires, and daily living activities.
  • Compile Reports: Produce detailed reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
Example Tasks:
  • Interview claimants to understand their health conditions and daily challenges.
  • Review medical records and write comprehensive reports.
  • Provide recommendations based on thorough assessments.
Training Program:Successful candidates will complete a 5-week comprehensive homebased training program covering:
  • Assessment Techniques: Best practices for accurate evaluations.
  • DWP Guidelines: Requirements and guidelines of the Department for Work and Pensions.
  • Report Writing: Skills for detailed and objective reporting.
Who We Need:We are specifically seeking:Polite Note: Sponsorship is not available for these roles.
  • Registered Adult Nurses (Adult, Mental Health, Learning Disability, General)
  • Occupational Therapists (Adult-focused)
  • Paramedics (Adult-focused)
  • Physiotherapists (Adult-focused)
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-year post-qualification.
  • Registration: Must have at least 1 year of active registration with NMC or HCPC.
  • Skills: Strong communication, proficient typing, and excellent IT skills are essential.
