Document Controller

Location:RG7 4PR, located between Reading and Basingstoke, with free onsite parking.

Package: £29,940 - £40,000 (depending on your suitability, qualifications, and level of experience)

Working pattern: AWE operates a 9-day working fortnight.

Hybrid working is available for this role on an informal, non-contractual basis. Typically 2 days onsite per week.

AWE is currently recruiting for a Document Controller for the Information, Configuration & Knowledge Management group.

The role is centred around the technical administration of a critical Electronic Document Management System, processing documents and records through the various stages of the information lifecycle, providing quality assurance and support to the vast numbers of users across the business and projects.

What you'll be accountable for:

• Providing and ensuring the efficient delivery of information and record management services.
• Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality and be a great team player.

Who are we looking for?

We do need you to have the following:

• Proven experience in a Document Control position
• Experience of using Sharepoint or another EDMS (i.e. Meridian)
• Ability to work as part of a team

You'll need to have the ability to work calmly and constructively in a priority changing environment and be able to manage your own workload. You will also have initiative, enthusiasm, a flexible approach, and ability to work to tight deadlines.
