• £28,437.75 per annum + £330.34 vetting allowance + £1,653.75 Driver Allowance

The Role

They’re looking for a Category C Driver/Underground Operative to support their transport function. This role involves safely transporting customer assets across the UK and handling secure storage operations within their underground facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive a variety of vehicles, including 18T & 7.5T box rigids and 3.5T vans
• Ensure on-time and secure delivery/collection of customer assets
• Accurately record handling data using a PDT system
• Transfer documents between the surface and underground storage facility
• Perform manual handling, palletisation, wrapping, loading, and unloading
• Represent DeepStore professionally with excellent customer service
• Complete all required paperwork and compliance procedures
• Adhere to mandatory health & safety standards

The Ideal Candidate

They’re looking for a reliable and skilled driver who thrives in both independent and team environments. About you:

• Relevant driving experience with a Category C Licence (full & clean)
• Strong geographical knowledge of the UK
• Comfortable driving in rural, suburban, and urban environments
• Experience with long-distance driving on national routes
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
