Elevation Recruitment is excited to be working with a reputable business to recruit a Driver/Warehouse Operative to join their client in Sherburn in Elmet. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and reliable individual to be part of a dynamic work environment, delivering excellent service while ensuring safety and efficiency in all aspects of the role.

• Carry out multi-drop collections and deliveries.

• Safely load, unload, and secure delivery vehicles.

• Accurately read and process paperwork.

• Work effectively with colleagues, clients, and management.

• Maximise output and minimise mistakes while prioritising safety and quality.

• Participate in the daily transport and operations planning process and liaise with factory personnel.

• Maintain yard cleanliness and organisation.

• Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure compliance with legal requirements.

• Support other team members as required once yard duties are complete.

• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in all yard and storage areas.

• Previous experience in a similar role is essential.

• Clean driving licence.

• Strong understanding of paperwork and ability to process it accurately.

• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple deliveries and tasks efficiently.

• Proactive and highly motivated with a methodical and accurate approach.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to strict deadlines.

• Ability to work independently and use initiative, while also being a strong team player.

• Working hours: Monday - Thursday 7:15am - 4:30pm (30 min unpaid lunch) & Friday 7:15am - 12:15pm.

• Holidays: 22 days per year, company closes over Christmas (varies each year, typically 3-4 days) which do not need to be taken out of holiday allowance, plus bank holidays.

• Pension: 4% employer contribution.
