Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Weekly Rate: £560 per week

Working Hours: 5 days a week

Start: ASAP

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, Fortes Transport Ltd, for a Drivers' Mate to join their team. Working with Curry’s Delivery Partners as a Drivers Mate, you will deliver and install our innovative products to our Curry's and PC World customers' homes.

We are looking for experienced Drivers Mates to work for one of our customers based in Stevenage to deliver and install electrical goods.

Drivers Mate - The Role:

You will accompany an experienced driver in a 7.5 T vehicle to deliver and install 'White Goods’, as well as set up 'TV surround sound’ in customer’s homes. (This position will involve heavy lifting)

• With the customer at the heart of all they do, you will offer exceptional customer service at every stage of the process.
• The role requires working on a rota basis; and will require flexible working including public/bank holidays and weekends.
• The role will require you to work Overtime as and when necessary

The client will provide full and on-going training in the installations of white goods.

Drivers Mate - Requirements:

• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Map reading and PDA systems experience (desirable)
• Proven experience in multi drop deliveries (desirable)
• A background in installation of white goods would be an advantage
• Act in a calm and professional manner at all times
• Be professional and presentable at all times.
• Have a flexible approach to work and changing circumstances
• Previous Drivers Mate experience
• Willing to Work Overtime as and when necessary
