DT Technician - West Drayton
The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Design & Technology Technician to join our innovative DT department. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning across all areas of Design Technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize workshop equipment, tools, and materials
- Prepare resources and set up equipment for practical lessons
- Assist teaching staff during practical sessions when required
- Ensure health and safety compliance in all workshop areas
- Maintain stock levels and order supplies
- Service and maintain machinery, including routine checks
Essential Requirements
- Experience in a workshop environment
- Strong knowledge of workshop machinery and tools
- Understanding of health and safety regulations
- Good organizational and time management skills
Desirable Requirements
- Previous experience in an educational setting
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM equipment
- First aid qualification
- Relevant technical qualification
- Either live in West Drayton or within a commutable distance
