As a DT Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth running of Design Technology classes, including:

• Preparing and maintaining tools, equipment, and materials for lessons.
• Assisting teaching staff with practical demonstrations and activities.
• Ensuring that all equipment is safely stored and maintained.
• Helping students understand the safe use of machinery and tools.
• Keeping workspaces clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.

• Previous experience as a DT Technician, or in a similar technical/engineering role.
• Knowledge of Design Technology disciplines, such as woodworking, metalworking, CAD, or electronics.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• A commitment to maintaining health and safety standards.
• An enhanced DBS check (we can help you obtain one if needed).
