### Job IntroductionWe are currently recruiting for exciting opportunities to join Turning Pointand be part of our highly successful and innovative Talking Therapies service.Total Wellbeing Luton is an integrated Talking therapies service combininghealthy lifestyles and emotional health programmes provided in partnershipwith Active Luton and we are looking for a qualified Dual Trained CBTTherapist to join the team.The service in Luton provides person-centred, holistic and accessiblewellbeing services which are flexible and creative, easy to access andnavigate and responsive to the needs of local people. The service contributesto tackling inequalities in health through promoting and supporting people todevelop healthier behaviours and lifestyles in the context of their own localcommunities.In addition to talking therapies, we offer healthy lifestyle programmesincluding NHS stop smoking, health checks, and exercise on referral, socialprescription, weight management and support with physical activity for peoplewith long term health conditions.As well as supporting the community with improving their physical andemotional heath, we also prioritise our staff wellbeing. We’re based at ActiveLuton gyms and community centres, which all staff can access and use freely.We offer a £1,200 joining bonus.This is a hybrid role - a combination of service based and home working.### Role ResponsibilityYou will be joining Total Wellbeing Luton which is a highly regarded andexperienced national provider of Talking Therapies service on behalf of theNHS. As a key member of the team, you will be working closely with ourclinical team to maintain our high standard and help us to develop thisfurther.We support people in the local area who are having difficulty in coping andwho may be suffering from a common mental illness such as depression, anxietyor phobias. Our approach embeds the notion of well–being and recovery andpromotes personal responsibility for lifestyle choices and self–management ofmental well–being. For our clients, this has resulted in a highly accessibleand user–friendly service available across a wide geographical area.As an High Intensity CBT Therapist you’ll be managing your own caseloadproviding evidence based treatments. You will provide assessments and evidencebased high intensity interventions and you will provide therapy to clientswith moderate to severe depression. We offer a high standard of in houseclinical supervision and training with accredited supervisors. We offerregular masterclasses to upskill our therapists and support their careerdevelopment as well as opportunities to access additional modality training.We provide excellent opportunities for development in this role through accessto training around areas of specialism such as supervision, long-termconditions, cultural diversity etc. You will work with your supervisor andline manager to make sure development and CPD plans are in place for yourongoing growth. There are also many opportunities for career progression intoareas of leadership or further clinical training.### The Ideal CandidateWe are looking to recruit a CBT Therapist who has also completed EMDRmodality.You will need to have experience of working within Mental Health.
