Operational Due Diligence Manager

London – Hybrid working

Lutine Bell are supporting a fast-growing Investments firm based in London, who are looking for an Operational Due Diligence Manager to join the team to support the Head of Investment Risk in developing an Operational Due Diligence (ODD) policy and conducting assessments of both new and existing investment managers and partners

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct operational due diligence on funds and investment partners, evaluating business models, governance, IT systems, compliance, and fund administration.
• Review legal documentation, tax structures, and third-party service providers, collaborating with internal finance and legal teams.
• Perform ongoing monitoring, manager visits, and financial statement reviews to uphold high operational standards.
• Maintain the Operational Risk Register and contribute to broader risk management initiatives.
• Develop and maintain the ODD policy, prepare reports for committees, and track key risks across managers.
• Foster strong relationships with investment teams, external managers, and industry professionals.

Experience required:

• Extensive ODD experience from private equity, asset management, fund administration, prime brokerage, or financial auditing.
• Strong knowledge of investment consultancy, legal structures, taxation, and valuation methodologies.
• Familiarity with enterprise risk management software; experience with Aladdin or Cepres is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills
