Job Description :

Role OverviewUndertake in-depth database and open-source investigations into individuals and organisations to deliver clients a clear evaluation of their status, credibility, background, and overall reputation. Ensure that all gathered data is thoroughly researched, analysed, organised, and appropriately documented.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive open-source investigations and utilise internal data tools to support the investigative process.
  • Collaborate with in-country teams to identify and collect pertinent information, ensuring all relevant sources are utilised.
  • Compile and summarise information, recording all supporting documentation for review and assessment.
  • Identify potential red flags and determine further investigative avenues to capture all necessary details.
  • Account for environmental factors that may influence the suitability of the individual or organisation under review.
  • Analyse and interpret data from a variety of databases and third-party sources, drawing informed conclusions through a thorough evaluation process.
  • Produce clear, logical, and concise reports summarising key findings, outlining potential risks, and highlighting areas requiring further investigation or escalation.
  • Work independently to meet client deadlines while contributing collaboratively to team goals and business objectives.
  • Regularly review reports and other materials for personal development and growth.

Requirements

Essential:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a systematic approach to handling diverse information sources.
  • First Langauage/Fluency in Arabic or Mandarin as well as English. 
  • Strong skills in writing essays and reports, with the ability to structure and present information coherently.
  • A naturally inquisitive mindset with the ability to take initiative and dig deeper to uncover the facts.
  • Availability to work on-site four days a week.

Desirable:

  • Interest in topics such as international politics, finance, crime, and security.
