Dust cart driver - MC Personnel : Job Details

We are currently seeking a Dust cart driver for a well-established client based in Gravesend. As a key part of the waste management team, you will be responsible for operating a refuse lorry, collecting waste from various locations, and ensuring that the service is delivered in an efficient and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Class 2 refuse lorry, complying with all relevant safety and traffic regulations.
• Complete waste collection rounds in designated areas, adhering to established routes and schedules.
• Work alongside a crew to load and transport household or commercial waste.
• Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of the vehicle.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members to address any issues or changes in the collection process.
• Complete necessary paperwork and log sheets accurately.

Requirements:

• A valid Class 2 (Category C) driving license is essential.
• Proven experience as a refuse driver or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of refuse collection procedures and safety guidelines.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• A positive, reliable attitude and a strong work ethic.

Hours of Work:

• Monday to Friday, starting at 7:00 AM each day. The finish time will depend on the completion of the assigned rounds.
• Flexibility in working hours may be required depending on the demands of the job.
