Criminal Defence SolicitorWirral, Hybrid£35,000 - £50,000 (DOE)My client, a reputable Criminal Law firm based in Birkenhead, is seeking an experienced Criminal Defence Solicitor to join their dedicated team. With a solid history in defending clients across the Wirral, Liverpool, and Chester, my client provides expert representation from police station interviews to Magistrates and Crown Court hearings.The Role:

• Police Station Representation: Provide 24/7 on-call support for clients requiring legal assistance during police interviews, ensuring fair and skilled representation during the investigative process.
• Court Representation: Manage cases at the Magistrates and Crown Courts, preparing and presenting robust defence strategies. My client values in-house advocacy, giving you the opportunity to take a hands-on approach and build rapport with clients.
• Case Preparation: Work closely with clients to develop comprehensive defence cases, from reviewing evidence to identifying key arguments and cross-examining prosecution witnesses.

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in Criminal Defence.
• Police Station Accreditation (essential).
• Strong advocacy skills and experience representing clients in Magistrates and Crown Court.
• Ability to work under pressure with a flexible, client-focused approach.
