Dynamics F&O Functional Consultant - Robert Half : Job Details

Robert Half have partnered with a leading European brand who are looking for an experienced Functional Consultant with a strong background in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) to join their team. The client is embarking on an end to end implementation of Dynamics across their European offices, this is an excellent opportunity to be a key figure in a complex but exciting transformation.

Frequent travel within Europe is a key aspect of this position, as you'll often work directly on client sites.

To be considered you must of delivered an end to end Dynamics F&O transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand Client Needs: Work closely with the wider organise to analyse their business processes, challenges, and requirements, translating these into actionable functional solutions.
• Design and Configure Solutions: Develop and implement Dynamics 365 F&O solutions that align with client objectives, focusing on efficiency and scalability.
• Drive Process Improvements: Help clients identify areas for process optimisation and recommend best practices to achieve business goals using Dynamics F&O.
• Support Implementations: Configure and fine-tune Dynamics F&O modules (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, etc.), ensuring the system meets business requirements.
• Provide Training: Deliver user training and support to help teams adopt new systems effectively.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with developers, technical consultants, and project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
• Engage with Stakeholders: Build strong relationships with client stakeholders to ensure their needs are understood and addressed.
• Maintain Documentation: Create and manage functional documentation, including solution designs, test plans, and user guides.
• Travel: Be prepared to travel frequently across Europe, spending significant time on-site with clients to provide hands-on support.

Experience and Skills Required

• Professional Experience:
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a Functional Consultant, with a focus on Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • A proven track record of delivering end-to-end Dynamics 365 F&O implementations.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 F&O modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with the Power Platform, Azure, or similar tools is advantageous.
